How this works

• Every bay has a curated exposure profile — the compass direction it opens toward and how much reef or headland protection it has.
• We pull the live 7-day swell and wind forecast for seven offshore points around the islands (Open-Meteo marine model), then score each beach by how squarely that swell enters its bay.
• The classic pattern: winter north swells wash out Magens, Cinnamon and Cane Garden Bay while the south shores stay flat; steady east trades put afternoon chop on east-facing beaches like Sapphire.
• The cruise-ship crowd forecast is overlaid from our port schedule, so you can trade a point of calm for a beach without four ships’ worth of company.
• Scores are a planning guide, not a safety rating — obey posted flags and lifeguards, and remember conditions change through the day.
