Cruise ships in St. Thomas dock at two terminals on Charlotte Amalie Harbor. The West Indian Company (WICO) dock at Havensight is a 1,500-foot pier on the east side of the harbor with Havensight Mall, Yacht Haven Grande and the Paradise Point Skyride at its foot; it berths up to three ships and hosts most Carnival, Norwegian, Disney, Princess and MSC calls. The Crown Bay pier (the Austin “Babe” Monsanto Marine Terminal) is 1.6 miles west, near the airport, with Crown Bay Center at its root and two berths (North and South) used mostly by Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. Downtown Charlotte Amalie is a 20-minute walk or a $4–$6 taxi from Havensight and a $6 taxi from Crown Bay. On the busiest winter days both terminals fill and a ship may anchor in the harbor and tender ashore.
