What to watch for: The only live camera on Water Island. Honeymoon Beach faces north-east into Druif Bay, so it is sheltered from the prevailing swell and the water is usually flat. Count the boats on the mooring balls to gauge how busy the beach will be.

Sapphire Beach is on the east end near Red Hook, facing east into the prevailing trade winds with St. John and Great St. James on the horizon. Because it faces the weather, it is the first St. Thomas beach to show a building east swell and the first to show sargassum arriving — which makes it the single most useful conditions camera on the island.
Lime Out in Lindbergh Bay is the opposite: a south-west-facing bay that is normally sheltered, seen from the waterline off a floating taco bar. Lindbergh Bay sits directly under the Cyril E. King (STT) approach, so aircraft cross the frame throughout the day. Between the two you get both the exposed coast and the sheltered one.
Not a public live stream we can embed. Magens Bay on the north shore and the cruise piers at Havensight and Crown Bay are the two most-searched St. Thomas camera views, and neither has a camera that publishes an embeddable public feed. We would rather say that plainly than point you at a dead link or a still photo dressed up as live.
For the cruise piers, the schedule is usually what people actually want — which ships are alongside today, how many passengers they carry, and when they sail. That we do have, and it is updated daily.
The trade winds usually build through the middle of the day and ease overnight, so the calmest water on the Sapphire camera is normally early morning. Sunrise in the territory runs between about 5:35am and 6:45am Atlantic Standard Time; sunset between about 5:45pm and 7:05pm.
Sapphire Beach and Lindbergh Bay both have their own guides, along with the rest of the island's beaches. Official taxi fares on St. Thomas are set by the VI Taxicab Commission and are per person on most routes, so the fare table is worth checking before you get in.
