Are these fares & times current?

• These fares and departure times are the current published schedule as verified on August 8, 2026, drawn directly from the ferry operators (Road Town Fast Ferry, Native Son and Smith's Ferry). Ferry schedules do change seasonally and by day of week — always confirm departure times with the operator before you travel.

Good to know

• International crossing — passport required
• BVI entry: complete online e-card at bviedcard.gov.vg before travel (as of Jan 2025)
• Arrive 60–90 minutes before departure for customs/immigration
• Port fee: $10/pp (STT→BVI) — not included in ticket
• BVI departure tax: $20/pp non-resident / $15/pp resident
• BVI Environmental & Tourism levy: $10/pp on arrival
• Smith's Ferry: Mon/Thu — RT 7:30am/CHA 9:00am, RT 11:30am/CHA 4:00pm; Tue/Fri/Sat — RT 10:00am/CHA 1:50pm, RT 3:15pm/CHA 5:30pm; no Wed; some Sundays vary
• Smith's check-in: 35 minutes before departure

Entry requirements (international crossing)

• A valid passport is required for every traveler — this ferry crosses into the British Virgin Islands.
• Complete the online BVI e-card at bviedcard.gov.vg before you travel.
• Budget for BVI entry/departure fees on top of the ferry ticket (roughly $30–40 per person in port fees, departure tax, and tourism levy).
• Arrive 60–90 minutes early to clear customs and immigration.
